Background & Vision
The KAN Groups team met through our work at Hillel. There, we spent years building vibrant communities on college campuses, mentoring individuals and groups to deepen their connection to Jewish life, the world around them, and themselves. We bonded over a shared passion for creating innovative programs that sparked meaningful experiences and lasting relationships. Leading trips to Israel was just one part of our roles back then, but it was our favorite and one where we dreamed of what we could do with more creative freedom.
Today, as a team of young Israeli and American professionals, we’re building something new. We’re not interested in just running trips, but reimagining group travel and its ability to build authentic and unique personal connections. Now we have years of experience as Israel trip providers, and having designed dozens of our own group trips to Israel, we are confident we can bring all our dreams from our Hillel days to life and then some.
Outside our professional work, each of us has spent months, and in some cases years, backpacking across continents, immersing ourselves in local cultures that shaped who we are. We know firsthand the life-changing power of authentic exploration: how it expands perspectives and deepens one’s sense of place in the world. We’re driven by a deep belief that transformative journeys should be accessible to everyone, even those who may not have the time or comfort to wander extensively on their own.
Together we are dedicated to combining our passion for meaningful community building with our eagerness to share the power of transformative travel experiences, in every journey we create.
